Default Thermostat
Brand: Magic Chef
Model Number: 61S04PAA
Age: 5 - 10 years

My oven temperature is all over the place, it was 25 degrees too cool and now can be up to 50 degrees too hot. I think it needs a new thermostat, also I no longer have the schematic to know exactly how to replace it. Thanks

This is a bare bones model, no clock, timer, light, etc.

If you are using a inexpensive oven thermometer to track the oven temperature it may be the thermometer that is not sensing properly.

If it is not baking the way it use to it is likely the thermostat.

Here is a link to your oven model 61S04PAA.

If you don't have the schematic make sure you either label the wire or go wire for wire when you get your new thermostat.
