Tappan TEF351EWB Range with electronic control center and self cleaning oven.

Oven element self destructed while on and disintegrated into 2 pieces. Surprised me. This oven has had easily less than 20 hours of actual use. I replaced the burned element with a new element from PartSelect. I've installed it but now the element does not heat at all. I checked all wiring behind upper and lower back panels and nothing appears to be burned. I checked all connections to ensure all were well connected. The element still does not heat and it also will not heat in self cleaning mode.

The broiler element works fine and all stovetop elements also function properly.

Does anyone have any ideas?

It is not uncommon for an element to break in half when they fail.

This may have taken the clock out.

Check the voltage to the element.
