Question Stove Blew Up!
Brand: Frigidaire
Age: 1 - 4 years

My mother is an elderly woman on a fixed income and purchaced her stove only a couple of years ago, if that long ago, at Badcock Furniture. The oven part of the stove popped loudly, blew out a flash of blue and sparks, and hasn't worked since then. The stove top nor the oven works any longer. It is ridiculous that she should need to purchase a new stove after such a short period of time. We replaced the heating element in the oven thinking it might resolve the problem, as well as, the electrical cord to no avail. What would you suggest as the holidays are quickly upon us?

Hi,

Check the house fuses or breakers to make sure they are ok.
