Default Sputtering flame in oven
Brand: Other
Model Number: Thermador PGR304US
Age: 1 - 4 years

The flame in my oven continually sputters and rumbles. It's as if the flow of gas is being interrupted. The igniter remains glowing and its appearance does not change. Any idea what the problem is?

Hello,
For this problem you'll need an amp clamp to figure out what you'll need. The burner will sputter if the glow bar is not drawing a minimum of 3.2 amps when 120vac is getting to it. If you have 120, but less than 3.2 amps you can replace the glow bar, part # 415504. If you do have at least 3.2 amps you'll need the safety valve, # 415497.

Good Luck..
