Unhappy Shorted out top burner
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: ? N/A
Age: 5 - 10 years

I was cleaning my oven when I loosend the top burner to clean under it and It shorted on the back cover. Now the oven acts strange. The light and clock don't work, but when I turn the oven in the on possition with the thermostat the light. I'm wondering if there is an inline fuse I may have triped on one leg of the power? Also the curcuit braker never tripped.

Brand not Whirlpool it's Frigidaire Model:FEB500CEBE

Did you try turning the breaker off and then back on.

It sound like there is only power to one side of the circuit.

Here is a link to your oven model FEB500CEBE.
