Default Short after Glowbar removal
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: JGBP90MEB4BC
Age: 5 - 10 years

This is a G.E. XL Spectra

Bake glowbar did not work. Broiler glowbar does/did. I removed bake glowbar to replace. Now, if I use the broiler the unit shorts out. Is this normal if the bake glowbar has been removed and not replaced? Would like to know if I have another problem before purchasing the bake glow bar. Thanks,Chris

What did you do with the wires to the bake glow bar?

Here is a link to your range model JGBP90MEB4BC.
