I cant get the door to latch allowing starting the self clean cycle. After a few moments the panel displays Dr which I assume is door. I tried pressing the door in with leg while starting clean cycle but it did not help.
A heavy pot was dropped on the door but the wife says the clean cycle has worked since then.

The DR does stand for door.

There is likely a problem with the door latch motor and switch assembly.

You will have to check to see if the switches are closing and working.
