This Hotpoint oven will not self-clean. It is an older model (?) so I do not have any paper work on it. When I tried to self clean last night...........I put both dials on clean, the light came on, the door locked.............but nothing happened. It did not get hot or clean the oven........it was on all night. Do you have any suggestions generically how to fix this problem. Since the lights are working and the door locks.....it could be something minor..................Thanks

Your model number should be on a tag on the frame of the range where the drawer closes.

With the model number I can tell what kind of controls you have and may be able to tell you what to try.

The model # as far as I can tell is CEC4670TAB........It is a Gibson self cleaning oven....Thanks, Cam
