Unhappy Self cleaning oven cuts out before oven is clean
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: GRSR3910TM-2
Age: 5 - 10 years

My self cleaning oven starts but after about 20 mins the element goes off and it never cuts back in again, therefore oven is still dirty when cycle is finished. I have only used the self clean feature twice and both times it worked very good. I purchased this stove second hand and the original owner only cleaned the oven 5 times in a 5 year period .Any help would be appreciated.

Can you please verify your model number as I can not locate it in our database?

The model number should be on a tag with the serial number.

Default model number

I rechecked the model number and it is correct. Could the problem be that my stove was made in canada.

Yes because it is a Canadian model it is not in to the PartSelect database but I have even tried it in the Canadian site with no luck.

Is this a wall oven or a range?

Default range

It is a GE Evolution Range with a glass ceramic cooktop.

Default ge range

I looked at the book that came with the range and it gives a Camco phone to call for warranty so maybe that is why we can't find the model number in the GE database.
