I got this gas range I bought second hand real nice. I found the Self cleaning cycle will not work on range. I replaced the door latch kit on range from parts select thinking this is the problem and found the self cleaning on range still not working after replacing latch kit.
This is what happens=
I lock door press self clean on ERC and time shows 3hrs. for cycle to run I press start and after 2 seconds self clean cycle shuts off?? Is it the ERC? or is it the Broil element? Can anyone out there help me with this problem?

Does the Broil work on it own?
