 Self Clean Oven activation Brand: Gibson Age: 5 - 10 years
My friend received a 2nd handed Gibson stove that has a self cleaning oven. It is not digital and he didn't receive a manual with it. I tried to activate the oven this morning and the light indicator would not come on when I turned the dial to self clean and the other oven dial to clean. The oven locked and made a slight noise inside but the oven would not get hot so it could clean. Without a manual I'm at a loss of what to do. Would we need to set the timer before it would start. I'm not at his house now and do not have the model number. Any idea or hint that would help me get started on using the self cleaning oven on his stove.
I could turn the oven selector around and when it was on bake and other selections it would light up but the self cleaning would not light up. |
