Unhappy Self Clean Cycle Left Oven Racks In
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: JBP66EKBB
Age: Less than 1 year

I left the oven racks in during the self clean cycle which resulted in fumes to burn the eyes. They are now changed in color and don't slide smoothly anymore. I'm sure if I turn the oven on they will start giving off fumes again. Is there anything I can do with them to get tham back to normal or cover them with or do I just need to get new oven racks?

There is nothing you can do to bring the shine back to the racks.

The only thing you can do is replace them.

You are missing a number in between the K and the B in your model number.

You will need this to insure you get the right racks.
