I have the same model range. It was installed in Feb 2005. This past weekend the range began heating up extremely slow. It takes 30 minutes to get to 200 degrees. The hottest it has been is about 225, but that takes over an hour. The cooktop still works and heats well. Any ideas on which part is bad?

You likely have a failed element.

Can you please supply your model number.

In your range the bake element is hidden.

To remove the element turn off the power to the range or unplug it.

Remove the screws securing the the oven bottom cover.

Raise the back of the bake element cover and slide the cover back to release the front edge of the cover and lift it out of the oven cavity.

Remove the screws securing the bake element to the rear of the oven wall.

Pull the element forward to allow disconnection of the terminals on each element leg.

Reverse the procedure to reinstall the bake element.

Here is a link to your range model MER5755QAQ.
