Smile Resistance of a working oven sensor
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: JER8750AAW
Age: More than 10 years

My previous question had to do with an F1 fault. Replacing the Touch Panel/Circuit Board did not fix the problem. My neighbor had a similar problem. Replacing the oven sensor fixed it.

I measured the resistance of my oven sensor at 6300 ohms. I would appreciate it if someone could give me the resistance value of a working oven sensor.

At room temperature the resistance is 1000 ohms.

The temperature sensor is faulty.
