Default Replacing old elements and knobs
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: cce1401w
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have a cooktop that I would like to freshen up. Plan on painting it and would like different colored knobs and new drip pans. Can I substitute a similiar part for the original? TIA, Shae

The only other color knobs for that cook top would be black.

You will have to use a high heat paint but the durable of the paint will not likely be what you expect.
