Cool Replacing Ignitor
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: JGSP31GER3WG
Age: More than 10 years

Does any know if the Ignitor, is connected to some kind of a power supply or is just connected to the 115V line. It just happened that my Oven Ignitor went bad and in trying to see if that is the case and replacing it with the Broiler one, I had an electric shock and when I connected the Broiler Ignitor to the Oven, the second one did not work either. My got feeling is that I must have burned the Bloiler Ignitor with the shock. Any way to find out before I order new ones?

Default

The igniter would be hook to the oven control.

You would have to check on your wiring diagram for the terminal locations to check the voltage.

Here is a link to your range model JGSP31GER3WG.
