I am inquiring to see if there is a service manual with diagrams on how to replace the cooktop on my BRAND NEW range. It is a Maytag Model # MERH752CAS. Partselect.com sells the part (number 12 below). Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

To replace the top turn off the power or unplug the stove.

Open the oven door and remove the screws securing the maintop to the oven chassis, located on the outside edges of the maintop.

Raise the front edge of the maintop and pull the top forward approximately 6 inches.

Label and disconnect the wire terminal plugs form the maintop assembly.

Lift the maintop assembly from the oven chassis.

Reverse the procedures to reinstall the top.

Here is the link to your range model MERH752CAS.
