Default Replacing Electric Oven Element
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: feb386wecg
Age: 1 - 4 years

I received my new electric element for my oven yesterday, I need some help please. I have removed all the screws from the element where it attaches to the back of the oven, I have slightly pulled it out from the back, I dont want to pull forcefully as I do not want to pull any wiring apart. Do I have to remove this unit from the wall and take off the back of the oven to get the wires removed from this old element.

I need help,

Thanks,

Daniel

Pull the element out until you see the ends with the wires on them.

Then if the wire are screwed on remove the screws and install new element.

Push the element back in place and install the screws that hold it in place.

If you see that the wires are burnt, you will need to pull out oven and replace way back from the element.
