Default Replace Switch
Brand: Hotpoint
Age: 5 - 10 years

the switch sent has 5 terminals and the one on stove has 6 terminals the 3 red ones and one black - one brown- and one blue- one of the red ones is a double wire to one terminal on the orginal switch -- Parts select tells me it is the replacement switch- ?

Will need a Model Number

Is this a single or dual element switch?

Also would be helpful to know not only the wire colors but the terminal they were attached to on the old control re: double red was connected to L2 etc.
