Regulating Oven Burner flame

Hi
My oven ignitor was glowing but the burner was not lighting. I was advise to replace the ignitor which i did but now the burner lights with a big yellow flame which i cannot adjust using the air shutter. What can be done to correct this problem?

Sorry we do not answer question on gas appliances due to safety concerns.
It is advised that you have a qualified gas technician service your range.
