Question Refridgerator - Gallery series
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: CFEF385JIS1
Age: 5 - 10 years

Yesterday, I had my stove on broil high cooking some chicken, and after a while the F1 light came on with a beeping sound. The oven wouldn't work anymore and the beeping sound didn't stop. I unplugged the stove and waited several hours, but when I plugged it in again the beeping began again. It's now sitting there unplugged, and I'm wondering what could be the problem?

The F 1 code stands for a problem with the control or the temperature probe.

Check the connection at the clock and the probe.

Can you please verify your model number as I can not locate it in our database.

Default Stove/oven - Frigidaire

Sorry, I want to make it clear that this is a stove/oven problem, not a refrigerator problem.

Yes I was referring to a stove when I mention the F1 code.

The probe is the piece in the oven that send information to the clock/control.

Is this a Canadian model?
