Default Range top not lighting
Brand: General Electric
Age: 1 - 4 years

I have a GE Gas Range top that has one burner that does not light when the knob is turned to light. No clicking noise is made, but when I turn the adjacent burner on to light, the clicking noise is made and then I can turn on the burner that doesn't light and it lights.
I just got a new spark electrode and put that in as soon as it arrived. I was totally disappointed when it did not work. $20.00 down the hole.

Can anyone point me to the right part to fix this thing?

Thanks in advance,

Buzz

It is likely the igniter not the electrode.
