Brand: Hotpoint
Model Number: RB757E

Water was spilled onto the hot element. It no longer worked so i replaced it.
the element still didnt work. what should I try next.

The water may have shorted the block or the switch.

The block is what the element pushes into.

Do the other elements on the top of the stove work?

Can you please check your model number as there is one or more characters missing.

All the other elements are working and the model # is R B757E H1BB.
The range is only 2 years old

Your switch is likely what needs to be replaced.
