Brand: Hotpoint
Age: 1 - 4 years

just need to know if there must be a certain size propane tank used on a propane range stove. my friend was using a 5 gal tank with what he said was the reguired regulator, he said that there was black soot rising from the burners the stove is set up with the proper orffices. i told him that it might be the size of the tank. what do you think?

The size of the tank makes no difference. His range is doing that because it needs to be converted to a LP gas range, usually with an orifice kit.

Hopefully The Regulator Is Of The Right Pressure. Their Is High Pressure Regs. Used On Outdoor Fish/turkey Cookers, And Low Pressure Regs. For Indoor Appliances. The Pressure Rating Is On The Reg.
