Default Problems with temperature for oven
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: CRE9600ACW
Age: 5 - 10 years

My oven does heat up, except it doesn't stop. I can't set it for 350 because it wont go to that unless I turn the heat up all the way to 550 first, then once it reaches that tem. back the heat down. When I turn the broil on, it heats up but does not get HOT like it use to.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. I want to fix this instead of scrapping it for a new one.

It sound like the clock control will need to be replaced.

Are there any codes in the display.

Here is a link to your oven model CRE9600ACW.

I have no code being displayed. When i look at the display there is just the time. Is there a way to get a code that would allow us to see what is going on with it ?
