The oven stopped working: it won't turn on. When trying to turn on the oven, the gas valve measures around 3V and the igniter measures 120V. I disconnected the igniter, to measure its resistance (impedance) and it does not read a value (it's infinite)... I suspect the igniter simply burned out ?! The igniter is cylindrical in shape, approximately 6" long, manufactured by Carborund (the part number is hard to read: 0206RS218, or 816T017P08... something like that).

Well, the replacement igniter arrived (universal replacement, round, "GR403") and it took about five minutes to put it in. The oven is working fine, thank you very, very much Tom for your encouragement!
