Default Oven won't reach temperature
Brand: Other
Model Number: L3882XRW
Age: 5 - 10 years

Norge oven won't reach proper temperature;

If oven is set for say 375...oven will not come on, if selector is set to 550 deg
display shows current temperature as 400 and oven comes on, display increments temp as it is heating up, elments glow red.
When candy themometer is in oven shows temp of 325 when selector shows 550.

Is this a control panel problem or thermostat/probe?

Wiring checks out ok, elements show 20 ohm

Thanks
Howard

Check your oven temperature sensor. It should have 1000 ohms resistance at room temperature.

If this check out then it is the oven control.

Here is a link to your range model L3882XRW.

I would replace oven sensor ist. These can check out ok but fail with voltage applied.
