Oven won't heat past 160 degrees

Hi,

I have a 2003 Maytag Precision Touch Cntrl 500 elec smoothtop.

It will not bake above 160 degrees.

Broil and cleaning work, but bake does not. elect top works fine.

Is it the clock? Or any other quick checks I could make? The wife wants to make cookies.

Is the bake element getting hot?

Can you please supply your model number?
