hi, the oven on my magic chef stove/oven will not light. the heating element turns on but i smell no gas. this just happened, it worked fine right before the holidays than went out, no warning. the top burners light, but no oven or boiler. any help would be great!

It sounds like the igniter has failed and is not opening the valve to allow the gas to flow.
