[QUi have an amana gas stove model arg7600ww, mfg # p1143345nww. my wife was baking a pie on sunday and it took over 2 1/2 hours to bake. i guess it is not holding the temperature . i talked to some part stores and they said to check the ignitor that it will glow red within 30 seconds. It takes maybe 40 seconds to glow bright red. I don't know if it's the ignitor or the temp sensor that is bad. what would be the resistence of good temp sensor? Should i replace the ignitor or the temp sensor?

To test the igniter and the gas valve you need a clip on amp meter.

This is best done by a qualified gas technician.
