Question Oven self cleaning
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 911.93609021
Age: 1 - 4 years

Hello My oven is stuck on self-cleaning mode and everytime I will run it the full time for cleaning it is stuck on clean.. I can't use the oven at all.. When you turn the dial the cleaning light is blicking... The stove top ranges work... But I can't bake anything......Please HELP!!!!!!!!!!! JOJO27055

Check for a stuck switch in the door lock assembly.

If the switch does not open the clock will think that it is still in the clean cycle and will not let the other function work.

If you could would you go into detail about how do I go about checking to see if its stuck.... If you would thanks so much and ifs thats not it what should I do next. jojo27055

You will have to take the looking mechanism out and test the switch with an ohm meter.
