Default Oven reset anywhere?
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: w132b
Age: 5 - 10 years

Just replaced the lower element, however, when pulling out the old part (ceramic broken on one side) the connection popped and sparked - yes I know - I forgot to turn off the electricity. Now the oven appears to have no power. Is there a reset on this unit? If not, is there a switch that could have been burned out by my stupidity? Just the left side popped.

Check the circuit breakers or fuses in your home.

If you have circuit breakers turn the breaker off and then back on.

If the breakers or fuses are fine you may have taken the clock out.

Here is a link to your oven model w132b.

House fuses are fine; all electronics on the oven have gone off, is clock the only electrical and operates oven settings, timer etc?
