Default Oven Problems (LCD, on/off button)
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: SVD48600B
Age: 5 - 10 years

The oven is a Jenn-Air with a gas cook top.
Evereything still seems to be working with the exception I cannot see the digital readout. I do not know what the temperature is and it seems very hard to shut off at times.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for any help to this matter.

Here is a service manual
http://www.servicematters.com/maytag...s/16010191.pdf

Here is a link to the aprts breakdown
Maytag SVD48600B

Click on the part number (in blue) and often another page will open with help from other who have used the part

Firsts thing I would do scan the manual for diagnostics.
Then open up the console disconnect/reconnect and check the plugs going to the
timer/display. Could be just a bad connection.
