Default Oven problem
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: gcg34bnl3
Age: More than 10 years

My oven does not put out enough gas to light itself so I light it with a match. It sometimes relights on its own and sometimes it don't. I have concluded that it is probably the gas safety valve but someone please correct me if I am wrong. My question is how to get this part off. I do not have any manuals showing me and it is wedged between the bottom of the oven and the burner. Please let me know the easy way to get this valve out.

Sorry but with gas appliance we do not give advice on repairs due to safety concerns.

It is recommended that you have a qualified gas technician do the repairs.
