My oven does not preheat to the correct temperature. Nothing else is wrong with this oven. If I replace the temperature sensor will this correct the problem. If I purchase the temperature sensor and it does not fix the problem can I return the sensor?

The temperature sensor is not likely your problem.

You can check the sensor with a meter.

You should get a resistance reading of 1100 ohms at room temperature.

Room temperature is about 75 degrees.

If you get this reading the sensor is good.

Where the sensor is an electrical part it can not be returned.
