Default Oven not working
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: JGBP26WEA1WW
Age: 5 - 10 years

When I turn the oven on to bake , The light comes on that tells you the oven is on. The problem is the IGNITER, won't glow. When you use the BROIL setting, its IGNITER starts to glow and the burner works, but when you turn it to the oven setting, it's IGNITER won't work. I don't use the BROILER so could I use it's IGNITER for the oven, or could there be something else wrong with the oven, that I need to look at. and how hard is it to replace the IGNITER?
THANKS

The igniter for the bake and broil on your oven are the same so you could change them to see if that fixes your problem.

Here is a link to your range model JGBP26WEA1WW.
