Brand: Amana
Model Number: arg7102w
Age: 5 - 10 years

gas oven will not work .has code flashing in clock area .....f4
what is the problem ,what part do i need and how do i fix ?...thank you!

Take control panel off and check the service sheet, it should explain error codes.

thank you ! ive found that f4 is temp sensor ...now im trying to find out how to replace the part itself,ive only retrieve info on using ohm meter at this point ...not how to change it ...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

You will find a temerature probe in oven, just remove scews in there and unplug from control board. Just order a new one, they can give ohm readings that show good, but are bad.
