Question Oven not staying on
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: 316002079
Age: 5 - 10 years

not really sure on the age of the range came with the house looks newer though. anyway my problem is that when i try to turn on the oven any part broiler or bake or clean the buttons work and the display works. I select a temperature, then it clicks on then clicks off almost immediatly i looked in the back nothing scorched or black and the element looks ok from what i see so im just kind thinking its the relay maybe. please help dont have the money to buy a new range.

p.s. the stove works fine and again display works fine too.

Can you please verify your model number?

The model number should be on a tag with the serial number on the frame of the range where the drawer closes.

Check to see if you are getting 240 volt to the clock.

It sounds like the clock is not getting the proper power to keep the relay engaged.

Are there any code being displayed.

Here a link to your range model FEF368CCTB.

It sounds like there is something wrong with the control.
