Hellon Bill Dyer,

I haven't been able to locate this model number. Please recheck and I will also check in other locations, as it sounds like your problem is very easy.

No model number on the back. I looked for a name plate on the inside of the door that is where I came up with 164D3871P002. I will check some more Thanks for the reply and the interest in my problem.

Default Found Model Number 911 93311010

Excuse me for not finding the model number faster on the Kenmore Stove. Bit I finallly got it! 911 93311010 I found it after moving cleaning behind it and then cleaning the door again looking for numbers while doing that, I opened the bottom which I dont use much. I then found it tucked away in what I thought to be an obscure spot.

Hope that it is the right model number so I can get working on the oven not heating up. When cleaning I did notice however the oven element is loose are they supposed to be that way?

Usually you will find a burned wire at the back of the oven that attaches to the element.
Or you will find someone has messed with the timing feature on the clock-if this has one.

Default Timer on Kenmore

Yes the oven has a timer I re-read the owners manual to see it has a reset. Then I will also look for the burnt wire on the element.
Thanks for pointing a direction to look for possible problems.

have a kenmore 911 oven which is not heating at all. Oven turns on ok but when desired temperature is set, it tries to heat up and shuts off. Please advise.
