I am assuming the clock/control works OK

Could try pulling the bake element out to see if both wires are still attached
These can get pretty brittle right at where they connect to the element and may have broken off

I would not try putting power to the oven and running it, if it is a broken wire and it touches the chassis, there is good chance it will blow your control/timer board

I am afraid you are going to have to pull the oven out
Check for any broken or loose wires and the power hook up
If nothing obvious pops up then you will need an ohm meter to check point to point continuity

whirlpoolcorp.com under Customer Support had the manuals for this unit but I could not find a wiring schematic. I did look at another Whirlpool stove, it had a thermal fuse but this was for the broil element only
