something has happened to my oven door. I was opening the door and something snapped and the door fell open. Now the door will not hold shut its self and becomes very heavy and stops past the usual resting spot....what has happened and what do I do???

There is a spring on each hinge to assist in closing and opening the door. The spring hooks to the hinge and a place on the cabinet. On most you can remove the bottom storage drawer for access to hinge and springs. Post model number for more help.
