Default Oven extremely slow to preheat
Brand: Amana
Model Number: AER5722BAW
Age: 1 - 4 years

The oven is extremely slow to preheat in normal bake mode. Everything else seems to be working fine (stovetop, etc.). I can heat the oven quickly by using broil mode, but not in bake mode. I recently cleaned the oven using the self-cleaning feature, and I believe I've been able to bake normally since then. However, I've wondered if the self-cleaning caused a problem. I've also wondered if this is a simple problem that can be fixed easily (fuse, setting, etc.) or if something is wrong with the thermostat that is preventing it from heating properly. Any thoughts on the cause of the problem or how to troubleshoot it?
