Question Oven and Electronic Control Panel won't work
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: RF368LXMQ
Age: 1 - 4 years

While broiling (about 4 minutes), a loud pop occured. Now the oven won't warm up and the electronic control panel has no display (clock, temperature, timer, nothing shows). The smoothtop range still works. The oven light still works when door is opened. The lightswitch on the top of the stove still works and the lights that show the range burners are on still function. I replaced the bottom baking element. No change. Do I replace the broiler element or is it a fuse on the electronic control panel or what?

You may now have a blow broil element plus a blown thermal fuze on the back wall of the oven. If so and you fix,it make sure the oven electronic control board still works with no shorted relay.
