My jen air oven will not close properly. I purchased new hinges from partselect and installed them which was very simple. The door opens and closes smoothly but once its in the close position it springs back about 2 inches naturally leaving the light on. I have disassembled numerous times but i receive the same reaction. I have taken out the little pins which stop the hinge from closing. Is their an adjustment for the spring to close properly?

The hinge receivers will have to be changed to match the new hinges.

i have the correct hinges and so i have ordered another set from parts select and this set does the exact same thing. When i replace the original hinge it works properly by closing properly. The reason i was changing the hinge was due to the hinge not flowing smooth when i close the range door

It is the part the the hinge go into that may have to be changed to match the new hinges.
