I have an older Gibson stove/oven. the right side door hinge bracket is broken and needs to be replaced. The door does not close completely even though I have both hinges working temprarily. Do the springs provide the force to close the doors or does the hinge cam action provide that function. I need to know if I shoud replace both hinges and the springs. The oven seal is a simple seal, not sure if replacing it would do much good.
