Default Oven door trim replacement problem
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: SF395LEEQ0
Age: 5 - 10 years

Hi,all!

The oven door trim replacement parts I ordered match the old parts fine. My problem is reinstalling the side trim pieces. I cannot get them to slide under the top door handle trim. It seems as if there is not enough space to slide the side pieces in between the outer glass and the top trim, and I don't want to force them for fear of breaking the tempered outer glass. Is there possibly a certain sequence to the reassembly of these parts? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks much

Frank

Default

Lay the door face down so the hinge are hanging over the edge of you work surface.

Side the door glass down and then slide the trim and glass up together.

Here is a link to your range model SF395LEEQ0.
