I keep getting an error on the display panel: F7in red and D7 green..Can anyone help? Thanks in advance

The F7 means that there is a problem with the touch pad.
I have never seen the d7 code. It may mean the number of time the error has occurred.

Dissconect the ribbon cable from the electronic module and turn power on. If no error msg. you have a bad keypad.
