My oven door locked up while in baking. Can you give me any suggestions on what caused this and how to get the oven door to open? Thank you.

The contact in the selector switch may have arced together.

The switch in the lock assembly may have arced.

You can make a hook out of a coat hanger and hook the latch.

Then pull to the right to disengage the lock.
