Default Oven door inside glass broken
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: c880 6457190
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have a Canadian Kenmore stove, and the inside oven door glass is broken. It's actually the glass that faces the inside of the oven. Sears will NOT sell me that part, and want to sell me the whole window kit for $210.00.
Sheila so kindly gave me this part number 22 c880 9750634, but it doesn't fit - that piece belongs near the outside of the door.
Please, can I have the part number for the the glass facing the hot part of the oven??? The dimensions are roughly 18 1/4 x 7 1/8 in.
Thanks!!!

Default Same problem here

I just got off the phone with Sears and found that the model number you had was almost right, except you need to change the last digit to a 0. [i.e. 22 c880 9750630].

I was given the same crap about needing to buy the full window kit for $210. If you have any luck finding it on it's own, let me know, and I will do the same for you.

Good luck

Default Oven door

Hi,
My husband took this task over for me, and he said the trick was to call the "Parts department". (I thought I had called that number - in fact, I was at the warehouse itself and no one could help me.) They found the part number pronto for him, except that it is not in stock. It's actually called a "Window baffle". It's going to be delivered to me on November 6th. I don't have the number, but I'm sure it will be on the box when it comes. If it fits, I'll let you know.

Just wondering how you made out with the glass for your door. Did you infact receive the correct part. Thanks.

I was so frustrated with Sears - cannot get the part.
So I went to a local glass shop and got the glass custom cut for me. He said that the problem with my oven is that it was made with heat resisitant glass, but now the ovens are made with tempered glass, and that's probably why Sears just doesn't have the part. So the piece of glass in it is used for fireplaces. It's just fine.
