Oven door doesn't quite close and oven light will frequently remain on. Any tips for hinge repair (bending, tightening) or is it best just to order new hinges and install? I know what PartsSelect would say, but I'd like to hear from you more self-sufficient, creative, repair folks. Thanks.

todd you should be able to pull the hinge out a little and it stay in the broil position for you to slide the door back on the hinges.



tim The hinges have a plastic wheel that wears out and causes the door to be stiff to open and allows it to misalign and not close properly. I would replace both of them.
